Our Carbon Zero Mindset

Dragonboard® has always been focused on sustainability and continues to look for newer ways to further reduce it’s footprint on the planet. It’s because of this mentality and the environmental benefits of our products, that we were chosen to work in association with the University of Liverpool, to prove the performance benefits of revolutionary, 100% electrically powered Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs).

The benefits of using Dragonboard® products in your next building project

Our boards and panels can be used in multiple applications, and is instantly beneficial due to its totally water resistant structure, meaning it will not disintegrate when immersed in water or exposed to extreme cold weather for prolonged periods of time.

Fire Resistant

Dragonboards main properties is its resistance to fire. In testing, the board performed as expected, surpassing the required 2 hour mark to achieve a pass. Not only did it reach the 2 hour mark, Dragonboard continued to perform until the test was discontinued after 243 minutes (4 hours 3 minutes), doubling the test requirements.

Water Resistant

Dragonboard® is totally water resistant and will not disintegrate when immersed in water or exposed to freeze or thaw cycles for prolonged periods of time.

Ideal for flood-risk areas

Due to its water resistant properties and the fact that it is mould and damp proof, its the perfect solution for flood area properties

Breathable

This means no fungus and it means the boards will not swell with varying temperatures.

Excellent lead times

With our advanced ordering and manufacturing systems, we always have stock close to hand, with some of the fastest lead times in the sector.

Easy to handle, cut and install

Our boards are designed for the installation by both professionals and self-build enthusiasts. They are simple and quick to install.

Strong and stable

You will be surprised at just how tough our boards are. There is a famous picture of a post hurricane scene, with one house left standing. That house was built with Dragonboard.

Environmentally friendly

We will talk about this a lot. We do believe we have probably the greenest board in the world.
